Christmas is an annual celebration remembering the birth of Jesus Christ. As what happened during my Christmas break for at least two weeks, I can say that Christmas is happier when you’re with your family and you celebrate it for the birth of Jesus Christ. We also know that Christmas is the season of giving like sharing of blessings to other people.
When our family celebrates Christmas, we always make sure to complete the nine days of Nine days of Misa de Gallo. We attend Aguinaldo masses at Fort Pilar Shrine which is just a walking distance within our house. We know that we must wake up early to attend masses on time. Of course, after completing the Aguinaldo masses, on the night before the birth of Jesus, we also attended the Christmas Eve mass at Sta. Maria Parish Church. The priest always says that we should not forget that Christmas is not for Santa Claus but it is the time where our Savior was born which is Jesus Christ.
